Why AKARUP exists
AKARUP was born from an observation: everyday communication tools route sensitive professional and personal data through infrastructures that neither users nor organizations control.
We are building a French alternative: end-to-end encrypted messaging and Drive, standardized post-quantum cryptography, hosting in France — and methodical transparency about what is done, measured, and verified.

Pascal Pommier
Founder & CTO — architecture and development
Pascal leads AKARUP's technical design: protocol architecture, applied cryptography, and engineering choices. Security never rests on a single pair of eyes: two independent implementations verify each other, and external analyses are published at every step.
Nicolas Neyroumande
Project management & client relations
Twenty years leading complex IT projects. Nicolas drives deployments, coordination, and relationships with client organizations, so adoption is as carefully crafted as the product.

This site only describes shipped, validated capabilities. Work in progress is presented as such, with measurements to back it.
Verifiable transparency
Analyses published unedited, a protocol implemented twice, an external evaluation process documented publicly.
End-to-end sovereignty
Code, hosting, operations: the entire chain is French and governed by European law.
