AKARUP is designed, developed, and operated in France by AKARE SARL, a French company established in Paris. Hosting is located in France, on infrastructure we operate ourselves — not with a US hyperscaler your continuity would depend on.
Concretely: the publisher and the main infrastructure are established in France, with no dependency on a US hyperscaler. This organization reduces direct exposure to extraterritorial legislation such as the CLOUD Act — and because everything is end-to-end encrypted, content confidentiality doesn't rest on geography alone: it is guaranteed by the architecture itself.
One singularity, stated with precision: to our knowledge, no other suite published in France today brings together messaging, Drive, server integration, and data exchange with end-to-end post-quantum encryption. French post-quantum players provide cryptographic building blocks and migration tools — AKARUP ships the finished product.
